Pits Productions excel themselves with 2 new films!

Sunday, December 7th, 2014

Exciting stuff is going on with the Pits Productions team, not only have they produced a little Christmas film well in time for the festive season but they have been out and about this summer filming a documentary!

There has been a lot of changes going on lately on the MPLR with worries over what happens next to the Moreton Pit Quarry, but also the Adderbolt Arms finally reopened after a long closure and refurb! Then Lavender Hill finally got a level crossing, something they have been asking for for years! Just to add to the excitement, the MPLR has been put under preservation and its future is no longer a worry, the Quarry is fast becoming a Museum for visitors to the MPLR to visit and see all its working machinery.

Such a lot of exciting things going on we expect you want to see them? Well we hope so, because if you watch the new film ‘Mr Smith Saves the Day’ you will be able to catch some glimpses of the changes. So without further ado, lets get on with the film…..

Well, we said there were 2 films and so here is the second one, this is just a little Christmas treat really, but great fun anyway!

We would like to take this oppurtunity on behalf of everyone at the Moreton Pit Light Railway and the Pits Productions team to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
