A Diagrammatic Map of the MPLR

The map is pretty self-explanatory and has most of the main features of the MPLR.  The trains generally tend to run in an ‘anti-clockwise’ direction with the passenger service taking the more  scenic route, missing out the viaduct and obviously the gravel works.  The goods service uses the same part of the line going between the gravel pit and up to Lavender Hill, then branches off along the viaduct to the water works.  Of course, this can cause some havoc with the timetabling!
